Learn about the history of the region where the Wyalusing Creek meets the Susquehanna River at the Wyalusing Valley Museum. Exhibits are open on weekends during the summer and by appointment the rest of the year. Their local history displays cover the Moravian Indian village at Friedenshutten, 19th and early 20th-century local businesses, and schools from the days of one-room schoolhouses to the consolidated high school and elementary school. The museum also provides outreach programs to schools and community groups.

The Wyalusing Valley Museum is currently renovating a building on Main Street to be their permanent home. In the meantime, their exhibit is located in the museum’s annex on Church Street.

The museum’s annual fundraiser, the Wyalusing Valley Wine Festival, takes place each September. Enjoy a sampling of Pennsylvania wines. Proceeds benefit the Wyalusing Valley Museum and the Wyalusing Lions Club. Visit wyalusingwinefestival.com for more information.
