Framesmith Art and Framings

Framing all of your memories, from kindergarten
keepsakes to museum pieces

All in the heart of beautiful, historic Tunkhannock

Framesmith Art and Framings opened its doors in February 1980 and was a part Tunkhannock’s downtown until June 2000, when Framesmith moved to its present location at 2 Sullivan Street in Tunkhannock. Through the years, the Stevens’ have first and foremost upheld the highest standards in framing and conserving the art entrusted to them.

With the support of their shop, they have been/are able to contribute to the community in many different ways throughout the years. Two particular favorites of the Stevens’ are the startup of their street fair, then called “Starving Artist Festival” (now Founders Day), and having started the first displays of art in the Wyoming County Courthouse.

Among the services offered at Framesmith, being a full-service framing shop: Conservation Framing, Large Selection of Mouldings (1/2” to 6”), Large Selection of Matting (Silk, Paper, Grass, Foils, Suede, Color Core), Matt Carving, Calligraphy, Brass Plate Engraving, Special Frames Ovals, Heart, Name Frames, Full Glass Selection Offered (UV, Regular, Non-Glare, Museum, Convex and Plexi), Memory Boxes, Needlework, Etc.
