BicyclePA Route L runs from the Delaware border south of Chadds Ford in Chester County, where it connects to Delaware Bicycle Route 1, north to the New York border north of Lanesboro, Susquehanna County where it connects to New York State Bicycle Route 11. The route runs through the eastern part of the state, passing through the Lehigh Valley and the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area.
BicyclePA Route Y runs from the Ohio border at the Pymatuning Lake in Crawford County east to the New York border at the Delaware River in Lackawaxen, Pike County. The route passes through the rural northern part of the state, roughly following U.S. Route 6.
Christy Mathewson Park is located behind the Lackawanna Trail Elementary Center. Park in the school parking lot and walk across pedestrian bridge into this lovely park. The park features a baseball field, walking trail, basketball courts, outdoor classroom, concession stand, bathroom facilities, and picnic pavilion.
The Clifford Township Park has a flat walking trail through the park and woods, a playground, fields, and a children's garden.
From the Forest City Trailhead, trail runs from Route 171 north through Lanesboro to the New York border. Biking, hiking, running, horseback riding, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling.

Keystone’s picturesque 170-acre Woodlands Campus with the south branch of the Tunkhannock Creek and Ackerly Creek running through the heart of it all, features roughly 7 miles of hiking trails.
Little Rocky Glen: acquired in 2004. A 26-acre property containing a spectacular sandstone gorge on the South Branch of the Tunkhannock Creek in Clinton Township, Wyoming County. Steep hemlock-clad slopes rise to either side of the gorge. This has historically been a popular fishing and picnicking spot; a picnic shelter was opened here in fall 2008. Open to the public dawn to dusk, April to November.
Recreational opportunities in the forest include snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, horseback riding, hiking, hunting and fishing. In addition to many shorter local trails, 33 miles of the Loyalsock Trail travel through this forest.
Almost 60-miles of trail from Route 87 near Montoursville exit, to just north of routes 220 & 154. Loyalsock Trail is a hiking trail along Loyalsock Creek in Lycoming and Sullivan counties in north central Pennsylvania.

Ricketts Glen State Park is a Pennsylvania state park on 13,050 acres (5,280 ha) in Columbia, Luzerne, and Sullivan counties in Pennsylvania in the United States. Ricketts Glen is a National Natural Landmark known for its old-growth forest and 24 named waterfalls along Kitchen Creek, which flows down the Allegheny Front escarpment from the Allegheny Plateau to the Ridge-and-Valley Appalachians.

About a mile north of Dimock is the Woodbourne Forest, a sylvan gem owned by the Nature Conservancy, which received the property via a donation by Francis R. Cope, Jr. The sanctuary contains a variety of habitats, including open fields, wetlands, and old-growth forest.
Worlds End State Park is situated in a narrow S-shaped valley of the Loyalsock Creek, just south of Forksville, Sullivan County.
