Music in the Mountains was co-founded by Deborah Reeder and Barbara Sonies, members of the Philadelphia Trio, in 1976. It was an intensive two-week chamber music workshop for high school age string players. For approximately ten years, they have been presenting an annual alumni concert sponsored by the Eagles Mere Friends of the Arts. This year’s event will take place on Friday, August 4, 2023, at 8 p.m. at the David DeWire Center in Eagles Mere.
